LongServing says inhibitory activity was observed under laboratory conditions.

These findings remain preliminary and should not be interpreted as evidence of a clinically proven cancer treatment. Laboratory results obtained in isolated cells require extensive animal testing, safety evaluation, clinical research and regulatory review before potential therapeutic applications can be established.

LongServing says it intends to pursue additional preclinical research and hopes to collaborate with hospitals, biotechnology companies, researchers and financial partners.

The work demonstrates another defining characteristic of Dr. Fang’s approach: an attraction to difficult problems whose solutions could potentially have significant human impact.
